The Public Policy and Administration major has seven concentrations. The International Concentration has the fewest students and is an outlier in terms of the core work of the major. These students would be better served if they received and International Studies major (which requires a BA, meaning two-years of a second language) and a Public Policy and Administration minor.

This action should mildly enhance the importance and appeal of International Studies as the preferred choice for students interested in working for international organizations of all kinds. There may be a very minor decline in the PPA majors.
