Describe the reasons for making this change:
These changes are being made to align the MSEd Information Technology Ed core classes with new MSEd Ed core classes (these substitutions were made in the MSEd program in 2007). The change in the Exit electives wording reflects the possibility for students to choose from the standard MSEd exit options rather than being restricted to only the Professional Project and adds a new Portfolio option that aligns more appropriately with the career goals of some students in the program.

For Dean Review only:
How and when will the effectiveness of these changes be determined?
An exit survey and 2-year out surveys will be conducted. An advisory committee made up at least one school district technology coordinator, WOU faculty, and program advisors will review the data and report suggested changes.
