Describe the proposed degree program change(s) in terms of how the changes differ from the program as currently approved and published in the latest WOU catalog (specify the latest catalog date).
Add Gero 120 (Medical Terminology), Gero 320 (Intro to Gerontology) and Gero 455 (Social Ties and Aging) as options for electives for the Psychology major. Many students are now choosing to take gerontology classes to supplement psychology course work. These courses will allow students more breadth of course work to gain knowledge of this important demographic and facilitate development of job related skills upon graduation.
