Program Change: P01347

Program Title: Gerontology
Undergraduate
Describe the proposed degree program change(s) in terms of how the changes differ from the program as currently approved and published in the latest WOU catalog (specify the latest catalog date).
Add Gero 120 (Medical Terminology), and Psychology 461 (Psychopharmacology) as options for electives for the Gerontology minor. The addition of these courses as electives in the minor will allow Gerontology students greater breadth and depth of knowledge in these specific areas. This increased understanding of older adults will facilitate development of job related skills upon graduation.
