Program Title: BM in Contemporary Music

Describe the proposed degree program change(s) in terms of how the changes differ from the program as currently approved and published in the latest WOU catalog (specify the latest catalog date).
Correct the list of electives (30) in column 2, page 70, to reflect the following:
¿ MUS 427 is actually MUE 427; and the correct title is "Choral Methods."
¿ MUS 428 is properly titled "Choral Literature."
¿ [MUS 429 Literature for Instrumental Ensembles] and [MUS 430 Advanced Improvisation] are, sadly, missing from the list. Please add them.
Rationale: The first two courses are not consistent with the course descriptions on page152 of the 2011 catalog.
The missing courses are intended as electives available to satisfy this requirement.
