Course Goal and Objectives: Prepare students for upper division time based communication coursework. Integrate careful visual planning into student work processes. |
Justification for adding the course (e.g. alignment with other institutions, program revision, etc.): Necessary course for proposed expansion of visual communication design major to include animation and time-based media, as requested by WOU administration. |
Faculty and facilities needed: 2011-2012: hire NTT faculty with motion, narrative, video, animation specialization to teach these courses during the launch of the new program. |
