Catalog Description: Students participate in Demand-Control Schema (DC-S) supervision practica.

Course Goal and Objectives: Upon completing this course, students will be able to: 1. Successfully describe a real interpreting situation via the DC-S framework, differentiating EIPI demands. 2. Effectively lead supervision sessions with colleagues and students. 3. Support colleagues/classmates/students throughout the case presentations by utilizing validation. 4. Utilize the supervision session discussion and outcome(s) to improve his/her own work as a professional interpreter.

Faculty and facilities needed: No facilities needed. Year 1, no new faculty. Year 2, one more tenure line faculty needed.
