Current Course Description:
In depth examination of research and practice in Motor Behavior/Motor Learning. Discussion and research topics will vary by term. Topics may include areas such as dynamic systems, motor control in learning or rehabilitation, program planning.

New Course Description:
Same as above

Justification for changing the course (e.g. alignment with other institutions, program revision, etc.):
Many of the students enrolled in the M.S. Ed. in Health program have employment responsibilities that include teaching Physical Education and/or coaching. Currently, graduate offerings in Motor Behavior and Motor Learning are limited. Students would benefit from more opportunities for graduate work in these areas. Graduate students in other areas often have responsibilities as coaches (particularly in High Schools and in Youth Sport programs). They as well, could benefit from this course.
Students/Program affected:
Graduate students in the M.S. Ed. program and undergraduates in the Exercise Science major.
