Current Course Description:
Course provides pre-service physical education specialists with an introduction to the theory and practice of teaching physical education to children. Students will be actively involved in a comprehensive, service learning, teaching practicum with local home schooled children throughout the course. Co-requisite: PE 239.

New Course Description:
Course provides pre-service physical education specialists with an introduction to the theory and practice of teaching physical education to children. Students will be actively involved in a comprehensive, service learning, teaching practicum with local home schooled children throughout the course. Pre-requisites: PE 230, PE 310, PE 371. Co-requisite: PE 239.

Justification for changing the course (e.g. alignment with other institutions, program revision, etc.):
Departmental restructuring of curricular sequence (i.e., when courses are to be taken). As is, students in PE 330 are missing foundational information that are requisite to the teaching of children and youth.
