Current Course Description: A look at how ideas are organized in a variety of media. Explores how information is encoded in text, graphics, audio and motion media. Effectively choosing and designing appropriate media for the communication of ideas. |
New Course Description: No change |
Justification for changing the course (e.g. alignment with other institutions, program revision, etc.): MSEd Information Technology courses are no longer taught as slash courses. They have been taught as graduate-only courses for more than a decade. This is a housekeeping change to bring course numbering into alignment with practice. We have been teaching this course as CSE 615 using a temporary course approval for the past year. |
Students/Program affected: Students in the MSEd Information Technology program take this course as an elective. Others will not be affected since this course has not been taught at the undergraduate level for many years. |
