Current Course Description: Enables the preservice teacher to apply theories of human development and learning to a variety of classroom settings. Major theories of language and reading will be examined as they apply to emergent and developing readers in preschool through elementary grades. Introduction to the relationships between assessment and instructional decision-making. |

This modification signals which course should be taken for those seeking licensure at the early childhood only and early childhood/elementary levels and our proposed revision for ED 333 will signal which class is appropriate for those seeking licensure at the secondary level. |
