Justification for changing the course (e.g. alignment with other institutions, program revision, etc.): Students who plan on becoming ASL teachers must have near native fluency in ASL. Therefore, we are proposing that students who elect to take the teaching ASL series must complete ASL 303, INT 353, ASL 425D, 430D with a B or better and this is prerequisite to taking ASL 435: Mentoring for ASL Specialists and Teachers. |
