Current Course Description:
Examines the turbulent period of the first century B.C. through the medium of the speeches and letters of Cicero.

New Course Description:
This course examines the history of the North African region and its relationship with the Middle East, sub-Saharan Africa, and Europe. In this course we will examine historical events that show the relationship of North Africa with the surrounding areas in order to see the influence of North Africa on these regions and vice versa.
