Justification for dropping the course: The deletion of A 135 is part of a larger program change that will shift all studio art courses in the Art Department from 3 to 4 credits. Part of this realignment includes the cancellation of three foundation courses from the art curriculum. Material from A 135 (Beginning Life Drawing) will be shifted into A 230 Introduction to Life Drawing. More advanced life drawing content will be covered in upper division drawing coursework. |
