Justification for dropping the course: Justification for dropping the course: The deletion of A 393 is part of a larger program change that will shift all studio art courses from 3 to 4 credits. This change will align our program with other art programs in Oregon. Art students choosing sculpture as a focus area previously had the need for three terms of Intermediate Sculpture. A fourth existing number was seldom used. It was used only after all 300 and 400 level classes had been taken. The need for a fourth number is now made up in the ability to repeat A492 twice. This will now be consistent with the other concentrations in the department. |
