Justification for dropping the course: Justification for dropping the course: The deletion of A 373 is part of a larger program change that will shift all studio art courses from 3 to 4 credits. This change will also align the printmaking sequence with the other 300-level sequences in the art department and will align our program with other art programs in Oregon. A373 is an extraneous course offering that dates back to a time when the 300-level printmaking course numbers were linked to particular printmaking processes. This is no longer our practice, and the extra course number only confuses students who should no longer be enrolling in that number, but should rather be moving on to the A470 course. |
