Justification for changing the course (e.g. alignment with other institutions, program revision, etc.): The course number is changing to ¿clean up¿ our numbering system. Courses in the A X80¿s are dedicated to painting courses, and courses in the teens are more appropriate for foundation, practicum, gallery and capstone courses. Currently, there are two courses in the catalog associated with International Studio Art Study: A487 and A488. The Art Department can serve student¿s needs by offering only one course with a wider credit range. BFA students are required to take 3 credits total in A412 Practicum and/or A413 International Studio Art Study.
