Justification for dropping the course: Currently, there are two courses in the catalog associated with International Studio Art Study: A487 and A488. The Art Department can serve student¿s needs by only offering one course with a wider credit range. A487 is being changed to A413 and its credit range is being changed from 1-3 to 1-6. A488 is no longer necessary. This change is part of a larger ¿clean up¿ our numbering system. Courses in the A X80¿s are dedicated to painting courses, and courses in the teens are more appropriate for foundation, practicum, gallery and capstone courses. |
