Justification for adding the course (e.g. alignment with other institutions, program revision, etc.): Technology changes rapidly and there is often demand for specialized coursework in a specific area to meet a new or short-term need. This course will allow us to offer topics focusing on new technologies or trends, which may be required on a one-time basis or as a pilot while the technology or trend develops and establishes itself as a long-term need.
