Current Course Description:
2012-2013 Catalog, p. 164 Opportunity to apply basic counseling skills in a relatively safe environment. First year practicum classes will meet weekly and are taken concurrent with RC 611, RC 612 and RC 613. Prerequisite: consent of program coordinator

New Course Description:
These courses provide an opportunity to apply basic counseling skills in a relatively safe environment. All practica classes will meet weekly and includes analysis and feedback regarding students' counseling skills development as well as peer review. Prerequisite: consent of program coordinator

Justification for changing the course (e.g. alignment with other institutions, program revision, etc.):
The Rehabilitation Counselor Education program is requesting this description change so that it more accurately reflects the content of the course.
