Justification for changing the course (e.g. alignment with other institutions, program revision, etc.): This course has become a practicum in which students work outside the classroom independently in no risk situations. The name change reflects this reality. In addition, we have taken this Course + Lab model and modified it to be a 4-credit courses to allow for more dedicated time in the practicum site and in the classroom with the instructor for individual and group feedback. |
Students/Program affected: ASL/English Interpreting Program majors. |
