New Course Description:
Seventh in a related series of courses that focus on the use and study of ASL. Course includes intermediate ASL vocabulary, grammatical structures and conversational behaviors. Special emphasis on developing more awareness of the cultural values and beliefs shared by the Deaf Community. Prerequisite: ASL 203 with a grade of C or better.

Justification for changing the course (e.g. alignment with other institutions, program revision, etc.):
The only change we are requesting is to change the grade for the prerequisite course from a C- to a C. Faculty have noticed that students who continue to the next course with a C- do not perform up to expectation in the course.
Students/Program affected:
ASL Studies majors, ASL Studies minors
