New Course Description: A study of architecture, furniture and decorative arts from early Greek to modern, focusing on those eras that most commonly influence theatrical production styles. |
Justification for changing the course (e.g. alignment with other institutions, program revision, etc.): Changing class from three credits to four will allow for additional depth in existing topics. More time will be spent on each historical period and additional correlations between historical periods and modern theatrical design practices will be examined. Additional coursework will bring class into closer alignment with classes taught at universities on semester systems. |
Students/Program affected: Theatre majors and minors. |
