Current Course Description: Each graduating senior with a B.A./B.S. in dance or a B.A./B.S. in the arts with a dance emphasis will complete a final capstone experience on a selected topic in the field of dance. Students are responsible for the creation, rehearsal, research and the project presentation. Eligible for the RP grade option. Prerequisite: senior standing in dance

New Course Description: Each graduating senior with a B.A./B.S. in dance or a B.A./B.S. in the arts with a dance emphasis will complete a final capstone experience on a selected topic in the field of dance. Students are responsible for the creation, rehearsal, research and the project presentation. Eligible for the RP grade option.

Justification for changing the course (e.g. alignment with other institutions, program revision, etc.): Removing the prerequisite will enable students to register for this course without having to obtain an instructors signature. This should allow both the faculty and administration to better judge this course's potential enrollment prior to the first scheduled course meeting.
