Current Course Description:
Exploration of the roles and functions of persons employed in occupations for which the study of psychology prepares students. Students will be introduced to psychology related professions and the graduate school application process. Prerequisite: PSY 201 and PSY 202 or equivalent and consent of instructor

New Course Description:
Psy 398 Graduate Study in Psychology: Exploration and Preparation The graduate school application process will be explored in detail. Various professional opportunities and roles resulting from graduate study in psychology will be explored. Students will complete the required materials for graduate applications. Prerequisite: PSY 201 and PSY 202 or equivalent and the consent of instructor

Justification for changing the course (e.g. alignment with other institutions, program revision, etc.):
The new title is more reflective of the course content. The course description now gives students a more detailed picture of the course.
