Justification for changing the course (e.g. alignment with other institutions, program revision, etc.): It has been very difficult to schedule and staff CJ 425, CJ 406, CJ 421 and CJ 422 during the same term. Also, oftentimes when they have been scheduled, one of the courses is canceled due to low enrollment. CJ 421 or CJ 422 should remain as a prerequisite. |

Students/Program affected: This change will make it easier for students in the Homeland Security and Community Preparedness minor to complete the minor. The minor will also be easier to administer and schedule. |
