Current Course Description: Development of pedagogical content knowledge in science through the exploration of trends, environmental education, issues, materials, technology and resources in science education appropriate for elementary level. The course includes planning, assessment, and instructional strategies related to specific scientific content in state and national science standards, scientific processes as well as children¿s learning of science. Emphasis will be on active participation and modeling of strategies being taught. Pre-requisite of PSY 218. |
