Specific focus will be identified in each year's schedule of classes. May be taken twice if content is not repeated. Pre-requisites: Eng 107 or 108; and Eng 218; or consent of instructor.

Justification for changing the course (e.g. alignment with other institutions, program revision, etc.):
We are separating non-Western literatures into another course, narrowing the focus of this one. The impetus arose from examining and updating the requirements for the high school teaching major, but also in response to the course historical offerings.
Students/Program affected:
English major, literature minor, high school teaching/Language Arts major
