Justification for changing the course (e.g. alignment with other institutions, program revision, etc.):
We are separating non-Western literatures into another course, narrowing the focus of this one. The impetus arose from examining and updating the requirements for the high school teaching major, but also the history of the course offerings.
Students/Program affected:
English major, literature minor, high school teaching major/Language Arts
