Current Course Description:
Provides health promotion students the opportunity to demonstrate current professional competencies and to enhance professional growth through integration of classroom theory with planned, supervised, and practical work experiences. Prerequisite: admission to degree program and senior standing

New Course Description:
Provides health promotion students the opportunity to demonstrate current professional competencies and to enhance professional growth through integration of classroom theory with planned, supervised, and practical work experiences. Prerequisites: Community Health Education major and MTH 111, HE 227, BI 102, 234, 235, 236, and HE 471.

Justification for changing the course (e.g. alignment with other institutions, program revision, etc.):
We want to be more explicit with the description of PRQ's and add HE 471 as a prerequisite to build appropriate sequencing for Community Health Education majors.
Students/Program affected:
HE 419 is a required course for Community Health Education majors.
