I swapped out the DVD drive w/ the new burner.
however it has a driver issue that needs to be
looked at more closly, I was unable to pick up the
laptop due to having to cover the helpdesk during
the schdule pick up time.

information (ie is the drive broken or do they 
just want it replaced for some other reason)

TECHs the machine on this task is still under 
warranty and was purchased with a DVDRW so we 
need to check out what the actual issue is that 
they are having with the DVD drive and not 
whether they ordered something

I never arranged anything. I think I talked to Joe
Houck about this but I told him he needed to put a
service request in with the helpdesk so it could
be handled.
