I took a look at it and tried Prime95. It isn't 
over heating. I changed his standby settings to 
never and we'll see if that works.

He said it is shutting down when idle for only 10
seconds.

The monitor goes black, and the power button goes
amber.  He said this hasn't happened before today.
 (Perhaps it is realated to a Windows patch? We
could try changeing settings)
