Hello,
 
Sun is aware of the recurring event problem with
the calendar system.
 
There is however a way around this problem, you
can use the old interface.

She put an appointment in it this morning and it 
immediately went to the month view and does not 
show any appointments at all. Phil's computer is 
doing the same thing.
