Joe, task to you in case you want to double check
the damage. Info from inventory: Mfg Warranty
6/15/2005. If you don't care to check it out just
close the task, I gave her my assessment and told
her I would run it by you and not to worry about
it. Thanks!

Damage Assessment: The motherboard looks fine,
inside of case cannot see damage. Looks like it
just warped (visibly warped not just little warp)
the case. Computer turned on and booted up just
fine and seems to be running as normal.

Whole story: movers came into her office while she
was out and rearranged the office. There was a
heater under her desk that got turned on in the
process and the computer was set against the
heater. She came back and tried to move the
machine to the 'safe' place under the desk and
found that the case had melted to the deskheater.
She was able to pull them apart.

She says he was gone a few days while her office
was being painted, and when she returned her desk
heater was turned on and was sitting next to her
PC, and had melted the side of the PC. She says
it's still too hot to touch and isn't sure if she
should turn it on or seek help.
