back to telecom.  jack isn't dead but it doesn't
work.  the computer can see that it is connected
but cannot get incoming information.  I had tried
it with the laptop last time and it gave a
connected-disconnected back and forth till I
unplugged it.  This time I tried a new network
card in the problematic machine and it still
didn't work.  I plugged the machine into a
different jack and it worked great.  I plugged a
different machine into the nonworking jack and it
did the same thing the other machines did.  Talked
to Teresam she said she'd leave a message and send
someone out to take another look.

She said she is unable to log in to  this 
computer, and said that it was worked on last 
week. She said she is unable to work without it.
