Left him a msg detailing that he was an admin. He
may attempt the install himself. He'll call with
how he wants to proceed.

Hello,

I have personally purchased a copy of Crystal
Ball Professional 7.
The invoice is attached in pdf format. The
software is to be
installed on computer 20010621[Edit Inv], which has the
domain name
veblen.wou.edu. It is located in West House 101
(the one on the
right). I connect to that computer from the Mac in
my office using
Remote Desktop Connection.

My preference would be for me to be changed to
administrator for that
computer (which I have been in the past, but now I
am listed as a
SophosAdministrator -- am I also still a regular
admin?) so that I
can install (and uninstall after this term) the
software myself. If
not, UCS staff can do the installation. A CD is
being sent via FedEx
and should be here later this week. The software
can also be
downloaded from one of the links below.

The instructions list .NET Framework 1.1 and its
Service Pack 1 as
required. That computer has 1.0 and 2.0 installed.

He purchased this software personally(he owns) it
is called CrystalBall and is on the Windows
platform he is suppose to forward me some
purchase and license info for our files. In the
mean time he says the company has gave him the
okay to install on a laptop and pc station and he
has installed it on dept laptop already. He does
not believe that he is an admin on that machine
in WH101 and can do the install. He is gonna
email me the W# of the station on the right
called veblen.wou.edu that he would like to get
it installed on and he says he has access to a
download of the software installer. I'm not sure
of the best way to accomplish this install-
remote, onsite, or give him admin access to do
it? I will add the WOU# to this task when he
forwards it to me
