right click works on everything except the
desktop.  it freezes the desktop and nothing short
of logging off or a restart pull it back out.  Can
open display properties through the control panel,
can right click on programs/start menu/everything
except desktop.  Checked updates, checked spyware,
checked driver, tried uninstalling mouse and
reinstalling.  Running virus scan but I can't
figure out whats wrong.  It doesn't work in any
profile. Tried 3 ttl.

He said that he has no other machine to use and 
that he really can't lose this profile.
