She was having a keyboard problem at the same time
as this issue. When she replaced the keyboard the
login issue was resolved. Closing this ticket.

She's done both a shutdown and a restart to see if
that helped and it didn't do anything.

I asked her to check capslock and she said it
wasn't on and that this problem had just started
occuring today.
