this is a known problem. If you go the other way 
around it works (compose and then hit "to")

J0ohn just called back.  clearing his caches 
fixed the Blooms on campus issue.  He still wants 
someone to come look at the address issue

senate he keeps going to an old web page.  He is 
also having trouble using his address book.  When 
he adds addresses to his compose window they 
don't show up in the send line. I suggested he 
clear his caches but that won't help him with his 
address issue
