the 4600 uses DDR not DDR2 and they are not 
backwords compatable (physically different).

I installed the new ram into the machine, and the 
old ram is in the tech outbox.  Roy was 
insterested in looking into adding the RAM that 
was taken out of the machine into a 4600.  I know 
the 4600 uses DDR, however am not sure DDR2 will 
work with it.

if he asks about software and firewire cards for 
this station they have not come in yet... I put 
memory in TECH outbox with Service Request 
attached as all invoices will go straight to 
Joanie until June 30.
