I delivered it back to him seeing no more problems
after a couple of checks.  Reinstalled sophos. 
Seems to be running fine now.  Told him to call if
he noticed the problems coming back up so we can
grab it again, but until then he needed it for an
online class because files were on his HD. 
Recommended using network drives for his work.

Uninstalled sophos since it would not update at
all.  Needs to be reinstalled.

It is now recongized as a dell.  Just pulled the
biod battery and it reset, now sure what caused it.

The PC is not being recognized as a Dell.  Try
swapping a few parts to determine the issue.  This
did pass the Hard Drive test.

intents and purposes the machine appears off.

The error message showed up again. He was told to 
call when it happened again. He is leaving for 
vacation till next Wed. He is leaving the 
computer on so it can be doen remotely.

deleted cookies and left the registry alone...
everything seems fine.  Doesn't seem to be a
problem with the computer, possible a file is
running in the background and that is where the
error is coming from.  Will check it out further
tomorrow.

HE called back and said that the scan found 2 
problems: 1. fast click 2. window security 
center.spt update.
he is leaving soon and needs to know if he should 
leave his computer logged on, or shut it down 
when he leaves. Please call him and let him know.

Sometimes it runs just fine so this is an
intermitant problem. he isn't sure what's causing it.

His computer is lagging out and freezing.
Sometimes when he tries to shut it down the
computer gives him a "debug or close" option but
he's not sure what it means. It froze the first
time when he was trying to load his email.
