Did a restore point.  Seems to have worked.  Ran a
few more updates.  Evaluating.  No it's not ready.

She just installed the latest windows updates
yesterday and it's acting very weird, laggy, lots
of errors etc.

She's trying to get ready for a national
conference she's going to and really needs a
computer to work on today.
