cpu would spike and then would run normal several
times... 256 mb of memory couldn't handle the
spikes parted out a 4600 in the office to get it
to 768 mb that amount of memory could handle the
spikes, fully updating the box, no stands  at 0-2%
cpu usage after start up with 256 mb memory.

Her computer evidently didn't shutdown when she
left last night so when she turned on her monitor
today there were a bunch of error messages. She's
stuck on desktop with no icons and the power
button on the front of the case won't work. She's
not sure what she should do at this point.
