put the bad drive into Travis's old machine. 
Doesn't work.  Put the drive from Travis's old mac
into Sandy's and it works.  The drive appears to
read, and closes fine.  But when you hit the eject
button on the keyboard, or the eject button on the
drive it makes a click noise but nothing else happens.
