I have installed a new video driver and the
problem persisted (it is on the hardware table) Is
it possible that while only using the basic level
video display there isn't a problem with the
hardware but there is at a higher level of
operation?

After removing the video driver, it's been on.  I
suspect that it just needs the new video driver.

He can log on but then it goes to a blank screen 
and says it is updating. It was like this since 
yesterday. The room will be unlocked. He would 
like to be notified when this is complete please.
