Hi Michele,

The lab printers are automapped for students
(giving them list of 25-30 printers).
Politically, I could not do that to the fac/staff.
Fac/staff can indeed print to any of the lab
printers, they'll just need to choose it. To do
so, they'll need to use the search function
built-in to XP and 2003. If they use the term
"lab" without the quotes, then they'll get the
entire list of lab computers. Once they've
connected to one on a Terminal Server, that
preference is saved.

Alternately, one could open up an instance of
Internet Explorer and type \\radar and hit enter.
This will display the entire list of printers on
the print server. (Please note the direction of
the slashes).

thanks,
Joe

Michele tried each of the 8 thin clients in the
bank and was unable to print from them. A faculty
member, David Doellinger, was also unable to
print. However, Michele witnessed three students
who were able to print.
