the computer is running "normally" slow for most
of the time.  She only has 256 RAM, it takes a few
moments for a program to load, but that is normal.
 Beyond that.  If you open 2-3 programs (or try
to) at one time, the computer slows to the point
of freezing and requires a manual reboot.  It is
never the same programs.  There appears to be no
spyware, no viruses, and the programs run great
individually (just at about 256 RAM).  

Turning this over to you Joe, is there anything
special we can do to make it run smoother if not
faster other than a memory upgrade (the only thing
I could think of).  

I told them I was turning this over to you as I
can find nothing wrong with the machine and it may
need an upgrade.  Connie said she needs a "work
horse" for the next 12 months because of a project
she is working on.  Also, that they were buying
Dreamweaver 8 for it.  Imo, DW8 will not run on
her machine.
