It works now set to 10Mbps.  This is not a 
solution, but a work around.  I'll work with 
Telecom to replace the patch cables and 
troubleshoot.

If I set the switch port (switch-library3 C10) 
to 10Mbps it works fine (for 10Mbps).  At 
100Mbps, it slows down to a crawl.

seems strange. It doesn't always recognize that 
the cable is plugged in. It looks like a second 
network card was added in a previous task. I 
contacted telecom to make sure that the wireing 
was secure and was not causing any problems.

Error: Local area connection 4 & 5, a network 
cable is unplugged. She has checked her network 
cables and they seem to be in place.
