My thumb drive is a Lexar and has encryption on it
and the thin client in question detected it just
fine. When you insert a thumb drive into the thin
client it shows down at the very bottom of My
Computer as "USB on Remote Desktop" Within that
there should be a folder that represents the thumb
drive.

Told Sharyne to see if the student checked for
this when next she came in. Sharyne said that
she'll let us know if the girl comes in again but
if not that we should close the ticket if we don't
hear from her in about a week. Putting ticket on
hold until we hear from her or 11/8/06.

Looked around on line to see if the Attache used
any encryption since Joe had mentioned before that
that can cause a problem with the thin clients.
Doesn't look like the PNY Attache uses any
encryption so that shouldn't be the problem.

A student's flash drive was not working in
Computer # 20030098[Edit Inv] in the math ed lab AA302.
Ronnie told me that you might be able to figure
out if it was the student's equipment or ours if
you knew what type of flash drive it was. Here
you go... 512mb, "Attache" PNY Technologies. It
worked fine in my office computer. Thanks

called, talked to Sharyne. She did not have any
contact info for the student, or the brand of the
drive. If she sees the student again she will
send the student to our office with the drive so
we can test it here.

Sharyne tried the flash drive on her computer and
it worked fine so she thinks it is the thin
client.
