The padlock appears in a box in the middle of the
screen. When he has a screen up he can continue
to work with it, but the box obscures a lot of
the screen. If he does not have a task up and he
comes to the machine to perform some work, and
the padlock box is up, he cannot do anything with
it.

User called back. He says the 'padlock' problem
had gone away for a few hours but now it is back
and he is unable to work.
